Yayoi Hillsdale

Ate here for the first time. Wasn't that busy so we were seated right away. Ordered the pork katsu curry and sushi bites. Food arrived by robot which was cool. Both dishes were really good. Manager and wait staff were really nice and helpful.Highly recommended.

We wanted to come here since for awhile and finally got a chance this past Sunday right after they opened at 1130. The ordering was easy with the tablet. Our drinks came out promptly. I got the Yo Yoi Gozen set meal and my partner got the Saba Shio salt grilled mackerel set meal. My meal was great and delicious. The mackerel for my partner came out 5 minutes later. They had to add some soy sauce as it was not that seasoned as we thought. Service was great throughout our meal. Soon the place started filling up after we arrived. I was satisfied and stuffed after our meal. I'll go back when I get the chamce and try a different set meal.

If you're looking for a place with Japanese comfort food, this is your spot! The location we went to was inside Hillsdale Mall, so this makes a great meal after shopping. I loved the Teishoku meal sets because it reminded me of the ones we got in Japan. The fish is very fresh, the meats are super tender, and overall really nice hospitality. Highly recommended Japanese restaurant with an assortment of curries, appetizers, and main dishes. Located right at the entrance of the Hillsdale Mall with lots of parking within walking distance of the restaurant. The food here is definitely worth a trip to the mall. The food here is excellent. The chicken katsu curry was amazing and they have several dishes focused around Waygu beef which were also amazing. The serve alcohol here too. They offer several types of sake. They also offer beer being Sapporo Light in a bottle or Sapporo regular on draft. The food was amazing. They also have an automated service model with robots serving the table. It’s definitely a cool thing to see at first, but you start to miss the personalized feel of a human server. Also, they ask for tips after you eat - but are you tipping the robot? Otherwise, great food and we were in and out very quickly. If you love Japanese food - definitely come through and try it out! Also check out the cool robots

I passed by this place many times, and today, I decided to order takeout. The restaurant was very nice and not too busy. The server was friendly and welcoming. I ordered the Chicken Katsu, which didn't take very long to cook. The food was very good!! The portion was a nice size for the price paid, and they only accept credit cards. I would definitely come back again.
